High School to Work Technology Center

 

This Center for Professional Development Solutions project seeks to provide disadvantaged middle and high school students and their teachers with access to curriculum and instruction in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math that will enable teachers to effectively integrate technology into their curriculum.  Our aim is to help teachers increase student learning by increasing their knowledge of IT related pedagogy including robotics and to prepare teachers to use Skills Tutor’s, award winning online assessments in No Child Left Behind content areas. Students will be exposed to curriculum in network engineering, software support, and workforce development training necessary to enter the work force after graduation.
